On Saturday, July 26, 2025, VHIT BUEA successfully held the degree defense ceremony for its pioneer batch of Bachelor of Technology and Bachelor of Science students. The event brought together students from the School of Medical and Biomedical Sciences, Business and Finance, and the School of Engineering, who showcased their research projects and defended their theses in front of a carefully selected panel of experts.

Parents, guardians, friends, and sponsors were present to witness the defense firsthand, cheering on our students as they demonstrated their knowledge and skills. We congratulate our students on their hard work and dedication, proud to see them take this significant step towards their careers.

VHIT-BUEA Hotel Management and Catering End-of-Semester Practical Exams!

From June 24 to June 28, 2025, the Hotel Management and Catering department at VHIT-BUEA conducted its end-of-semester practical exams. Students were assessed in various areas, including:

1. Culinary arts
2. Food and beverage service
3. Housekeeping and laundry
4. Bar and restauration

The exams evaluated students' technical skills, attention to detail, time management, teamwork, and communication. Our students demonstrated their practical skills, applying theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios.

2nd Batch HND Defense 2024/2025!

On Saturday, April 12, 2025, VHIT-Buea proudly hosted the successful defense of its 2nd batch of Higher National Diploma (HND) students. The event brought together students from the Schools of Business and Finance, Agriculture, Computer Engineering, and Medical and Biomedical Sciences.

In the presence of a representative from our mentor university, the University of Buea, students showcased remarkable dedication, resilience, and expertise in their chosen fields. The panel of examiners was impressed by the students' presentations and responses, demonstrating their ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world problems.

Our keynote speakers shared valuable and actionable expertise and insights on;

Navigating the ever-changing job market, building in-demand digital skills, leveraging technology for career advancement, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, career growth strategies, networking and online presence.

The President and founder of VHIT-BUEA in his keynote message amplified on the necessity of digital skills in this era when he said "in this present technological era, computer literacy is not a luxury but a necessity". He personally handed over ultra- modern 6th generation laptops to all VHIT-BUEA students and many other attendees to enable them navigate the job market and to be more " competitive not only in Buea, but in Cameroon and the world at large".

The Career Development and Digitalization Summit was a huge success with attendees engaging in thought-provoking discussions and networking with the various keynote speakers and with peers!.
