#2024
Dear All,
As we bid farewell to 2023 and welcome the promising year of 2024, I want to take a moment to reflect on the journey I have embarked upon. Last year presented me with a profound dilemma: the choice between personal growth and the vision of our organizations. I made a courageous decision to prioritize my personal and family development, and I commend myself for the strides I have made and the achievements I have accomplished. It is through these personal triumphs that i find the strength and inspiration to contribute to the greater good.
However, as I reflect on the past year, I also acknowledge that there is room for growth and improvement. I have come to realize that personal growth need not be at the expense of my vision. In fact, i can harmoniously pursue both, fostering my development while dedicating myself to the realization of my organization's goals.
The dawn of 2024 brings with it a renewed sense of purpose and determination. This year, I will concentrate more on my vision, ensuring that i continue to make a meaningful impact on the lives of youth around the world. The African Youth Empowerment and Capacity Building Academy (AYECBA) will rise again in full force, embodying our commitment to empowering and uplifting young individuals.
As i embark on this journey, let me remember that personal growth and the pursuit of my organization's vision are not mutually exclusive. They complement and reinforce one another, allowing me to become the best versions of myself while making a lasting difference in the lives of others.
I am confident that 2024 will be a year of great achievements, both personally and for the AYECBA. Together (with my team), we will inspire and empower the youth, nurturing their potential and helping them overcome barriers. Our collective efforts hold the power to shape a brighter future, not only for ourselves but for generations to come.
Wishing you a year filled with purpose, resilience, and boundless success.
Happy New Year 2024 , to all AYECBA alumni, instructors , partners and BOD.

On Saturday the 2th of April I honoured an invitation from Care Foundation from Zambia to speak on Community Work. It was a great opportunity for me to share my leadership journey and to inspired 60+ youth. Youth need to start developing a community leadership Mindset.
I spoke on three very important aspects of community development. These include
1. Knowing your WHY,
2. Community Asset Mapping, and
3. Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) Approach to community development.
Before you want to engage or develop a community leadership Mindset you need to know WHY you want to volunteer your time and resources in developing your community. This is important because your WHY will be your inspiration and your driving force. This will ensure consistency in your community projects.
Once you know your WHY (which is your activities or what you want to do and the contribution or impact it will create in your community), you can now do a Community Asset Map of your community.
We need a change in Mindset on how we look or address problems in our community. We need to first look at the Assets that we have in our community and then use these assets to solve the problems affecting our community. Than looking only at the problem and start accusing other people of the problems affecting our communities.
Assets in your community include the talents and skills of community members, the institutions both private, government and religious in your community.
Then when you come out with your community assets Mapping, you can now identify some of the resources and skills in your community. Using the AYECBA Approach now you can link this asset to look for sustainable solutions to the problem affecting your community.
My objectives for participating in this workshop was to awake the confidence in the youth and cause a paradigm sheet in the way we look and address community problems. We are the solution to every problem.

Can't wait to start
Success have both Positive and Negative side.
The positive side of success is that its makes you feel confident, accomplished and accountable
The negative side of Success is that its has the tendency to shut our eyes to opportunity and cover our ears to the ideas of others. This is especially when you can't handle the pride and ego that comes with success
If you don't know how to handle success
Its will create an illusion of a fulfillment or accomplishment
Its will create a Comfort zone that prevent you from challenging yourself with new objectives
It’s like a seduction, it is like Love. You maybe blind and deaf to other opportunities
