To remind us to remain humble whenever we do what we are supposed to do, Jesus says in *Lk 17:7-10*: When you have done all that you were commanded, say, 'We are unworthy servants; we have done what we ought to have done. In other words, our services must be rendered with sincerity and love. When you work today, do you do it out of love or simply because you want others to see you? Those who work to be seen by others make sure their master is present before they can do anything, and when he is absent, they become indifferent to everything that is happening around them. There is always great personal satisfaction when we serve without expecting anything in return. *Fr Marc Nguemo Sch P*

Pour nous rappeler de rester modestes chaque fois que nous faisons ce que nous sommes censés faire, Jésus dit dans *Lc 17, 7-10* : « Quand vous avez fait tout ce qui vous a été commandé, dites : Nous sommes des serviteurs inutiles ; nous avons fait ce que nous devions faire. » En d'autres termes, nos services doivent être rendus avec sincérité et amour. Lorsque vous travaillez aujourd'hui, le faites-vous par amour ou simplement parce que vous voulez que les autres vous voient ? Ceux qui travaillent pour être vus par les autres s'assurent que leur maître est présent avant de pouvoir faire quoi que ce soit et, lorsque celui-ci est absent, ils deviennent indifférents à tout ce qui se passe autour d'eux. Il y a toujours une grande satisfaction personnelle lorsque nous servons sans attendre quoi que ce soit en retour. *P Marc Nguemo Sch P*
