The tafseer session at Annoor Masjid, Wuse 2, Abuja discussed Chapter 3, Verses 177-178 of the Glorious Qur'an.
The key lessons are:

1) Those who purchase disbelief at the price of their faith due to their greedy and avaricious nature will not harm Allah with anything;

2) For those whose priority is this world without regard for the hereafter, there will be punishment in the hereafter;

3) Those who continue to prosper despite their disobedience to Allah could have their punishment postponed by Him, but when it strikes, it will be severe and destructive;

4) Injustice towards anyone, including one's enemies, is prohibited. Islam advocates for justice for all, regardless of tribe, colour, religion, or affiliation; and

5) As parents, we must recognise that we are living in an increasingly complex and complicated world. We must inculcate good moral behaviour in our children and guide them to excel in religious knowledge, worldly knowledge, vocational training, farming, and business, among others. We must also continually pray for Allah's guidance and protection for them.
