You walked in the light, so steady, so true,
A teacher, a guide, with so much to do.
But the world is cruel, and darkness waits,
And men of the underworld sealed your fate.

No enemy were you to them, no harm in your way.
Just a life of service, day by day you gave.
Yet greed and power, in their cold demand,
Struck you down with a merciless hand.

Your chalk and books were your only tools,
Shaping minds, and breaking ignorance’s rules.
But their shadows crept where light once reigned,
Leaving us with sorrow and hearts deeply pained.

They have silenced your voice, but not your name,
For your work lives on, an eternal flame.
In every child whose dreams you grew,
In every lesson that carries you through. We cry for justice, we cry for peace,
Let the heaven hear our plea,
For a world where fear and violence cease.

No teacher, no soul, should meet such an end,
No light like yours should ever bend.
Rest now, dear heart, in a brighter place,
Where shadows flee and love leaves its trace.
Your life was stolen, but never in vain.

To be qualified for advancement of grade, you must:
1. Be 40 years
2. You must have taught for at least 10 years.

Secondary Education Minister Pauline Nalova Lyonga says PTA Still Very Much In Place Contrary To Some Media Reports.

"Some media organs have said the Minister of Secondary Education has cancelled PTA and are jubilating about it. The PTA is there to help the government to get people run the schools so that children can go to school. Without PTA, it is impossible to have all electronic equipments we have now in different schools.
During the meeting the Minister refuted making such announcement and frowned at media organs circulating such unfounded information."
