Burkina Faso has readjusted the curricula in secondary schools to align with the country's job market.

The decision was adopted during the Council of Ministers meeting chaired on Thursday by President Ibrahim Traoré.

The meeting was aimed at accelerating the digitalization of identity and restructuring vocational training in the Sahel nation.

The minister of secondary, vocational, and technical education, Moumouni Zoungrana, told the council that the change aimed to strengthen and ensure adaptation to socio-economic realities and the actual needs of the job market.

"We have indeed created the directory of professions to specify the work that will be carried out in these institutions. This directory includes 14 priority sectors for the state (...) in which we will focus training efforts to respond to employment needs," he said.

Some of those sectors include agriculture, livestock farming, mining, crafts, health, communication, security, and digital transformation, among others selected to promote the professional integration of young people.

OMG life sweet for Bukina Faso

Burkina Faso has just begun its journey to energy sovereignty with the inauguration of its first-ever power plant.

The 50-megawatt thermal power plant in Pabré was inaugurated on Tuesday by Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo.

This is just the first of the seven production units currently being built.

This infrastructure marks a new step in the "Land of Upright Men" strategy for energy sovereignty, Burkina 24 reported.

Currently, 50 percent of Burkina Faso's electricity is imported from neighboring countries.

The newly inaugurated plant is expected to supply up to 36,000 households.

Other power plants will be inaugurated soon as the country strives to reach at least 515 megawatts of national electricity capacity, which will be added to the existing grid.

Blogger Boh Elvis is making a public case through his page for Mr. Genesis Nkwagoh, popularly known as The Human Calculator, to receive the Honorary Degree of Doctor Honoris Causa from the University of Buea and the University of Bamenda.

Born on October 13, 1999, in Bambalang, Ngoketunjia Division, Nkwagoh has become one of Africa’s most celebrated mathematical prodigies. With the rare ability to solve complex calculations mentally within seconds, he has gained national and international recognition through viral videos and public demonstrations that showcase his speed, accuracy, and brilliance. Despite financial and health setbacks that disrupted his formal education, he turned his gift into a source of inspiration, while also distinguishing himself as a singer and performer.

According to Boh Elvis, Nkwagoh’s impact goes beyond entertainment. He has become a symbol of intellectual excellence and a beacon of hope for young Africans, proving that resilience and self-belief can overcome adversity. His work has rekindled interest in mathematics and critical thinking, while projecting Cameroon positively on the global stage. It is on this basis that the blogger is calling for him to be honored with a Doctor Honoris Causa, in recognition of his contributions to national pride.

An AI-generated image of him in academic robes has also been shared on the page to illustrate the vision of the proposed honor.

John 17:4
Before the crucifixion, Jesus prayed to the Father:
“I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.”
This is one of the clearest statements that Jesus completed His divine assignment.
2. John 19:30
On the cross, Jesus declared:
“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”
This signifies the completion of:
Redemption
Salvation work
Victory over sin
3. Hebrews 10:12
“But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God.”
Sitting down symbolizes completed work.
4. Hebrews 4:3
“...the works were finished from the foundation of the world.”
This reveals that God’s redemptive plan through Christ was fully accomplished.

Jesus Christ understood His assignments and worked so hard to accomplish it and He finished His work..

what about apostle Paul, in 2 Timo 4:7, " I have fought a good fight , I have finished my course, I have kept the faith"...

No man can really explain to you all you were meant to do except your manufacturer ( God)..
get God to God for the details of why He created you.

Reflection With Chaplain Johnas mbakwa .
Thursday 2nd April 2026.
Easter week celebration .

Welcome to the Easter Celebration
Beloved in Christ, I warmly welcome you to this Easter season—a time of joy, reflection, and renewal. Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the cornerstone of our faith. It is the assurance that death has been defeated, sin has been conquered, and eternal life is secured for all who believe.

As the Apostle Paul declared:
“And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.” (1 Corinthians 15:14, NIV)

✨ What is Easter?
Easter is the fulfillment of God’s promise throughout Scripture. It is the climax of salvation history, where Jesus, the Lamb of God, offered Himself as a sacrifice, was buried, and rose again on the third day. This event is not only spiritual but also historically attested, with scientific and archaeological confirmations supporting the biblical record.

🔬 Historical and Scientific Confirmations of Easter

1. The Death of Jesus
- Roman crucifixion has been confirmed by archaeology, with remains of crucified victims discovered bearing nails through bones.
- Ancient historians like Tacitus and Josephus (non-Christian sources) recorded Jesus’ ex*****on under Pontius Pilate.
- Medical studies show crucifixion leads to death by asphyxiation, blood loss, and shock.
- Scripture:
- Isaiah 53:5 – “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”
- John 19:30 – “When he had received the drink, Jesus said, ‘It is finished.’ With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”

2. The Burial of Jesus
- The tomb was publicly known in Jerusalem, making verification possible.
- Archaeological evidence of rock-hewn tombs from the first century matches the biblical description.
- Scripture:
- Isaiah 53:9 – “He was assigned a grave with the ...
