SEG India Alumni Gathering 🇮🇳

We recently brought together members of our alumni community for a memorable evening at The Qla in New Delhi, reconnecting former classmates, celebrating career milestones, and strengthening the lifelong bonds built during their studies at SHMS, Culinary Arts Academy, César Ritz Colleges and HIM Business school.

With 60 registered alumni in attendance, the gathering was a wonderful opportunity to share experiences, reflect on professional journeys across hospitality and business, and expand a growing network of industry leaders. We were also delighted to welcome Claudio Raccanello, Vice President of Sales, whose presence helped further connect generations of SEG graduates.

A special thank you to Sandeepa Varma for coordinating this fantastic event and for her continued dedication to supporting our Indian alumni community.

The Circle of Excellence is officially inaugurated.

On September 10, at Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland, we marked the beginning of a new chapter—bringing together six exceptional voices from the worlds of gastronomy, culture and education to share knowledge, inspire one another and help shape the future of our profession.

The day began with a truly special experience: an exclusive guided visit of the Mosimann Collection, personally led by our Founding Member, Chef Anton Mosimann OBE DL.A unique journey through culinary heritage, the Collection offered an inspiring perspective on a lifetime dedicated to excellence, creativity and the advancement of our profession.

Following the visit, the official signing ceremony of the Circle of Excellence began, honouring and welcoming our six inaugural members as they signed their Letters of Commitment.

🎉 Celebrating Two Milestones in Culinary Excellence

One special event, two important anniversaries.

20 Years of Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland
In 2006, Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland began with just five pioneering students. Two decades later, we're proud to celebrate 20 years of culinary education, inspiring hundreds of students each year and building a global community of outstanding culinary professionals.

10 Years of Partnership with the Mosimann Collection
This celebration also marked 10 years of partnership with the Mosimann Collection and the renewal of our collaboration with our Honorary Dean, Chef Anton Mosimann OBE DL. In recognition of his enduring legacy and contribution to culinary excellence, Chef Mosimann was presented with the Golden Whisk Trophy by Leo Wang, CEO of Swiss Education Group.

To mark these milestones, six of our pastry instructors, Chef Yann Muriset, Chef Nicolas Belorgey, Chef Jeremy Plassat, Chef Benjamin Estienne, Chef Hermann Ferga, and Chef Giulliana Corbetto, created a special anniversary biscuit tin, each contributing a signature recipe. 🍪

But at the heart of the celebration were the people: our graduates, faculty, partners, and friends who have shaped these journeys and continue to make our community what it is today.

Thank you to everyone who's been part of the story. Here's to 20 years of CAAS, 10 years with the Mosimann Collection, and the exciting chapters still ahead. 🥂

Did you know that with the support of the Inicio Foundation, Swiss Education Group alumni are launching educational programs in underserved areas, creating zero-waste initiatives in professional kitchens, building dyslexia support systems in Africa, and empowering marginalized women with hospitality skills. These aren’t just projects – they’re proof that our education creates change far beyond school walls, into 17 countries.

Now it's your turn! We're asking our community to come together and make an impactful change again!

On May 31st at 2:00 PM, Inicio Foundation is hosting the Smart Race – a unique fundraising event that’s as challenging as it is fun!

Over 6 km, teams of 3-4 participants will:
•Solve intellectual puzzles at checkpoints
•Complete creative challenges
•Record social media content to amplify our impact
•Push physical and mental boundaries together.

Three prize categories will celebrate different strengths:
