🎤 We are thrilled to announce the next evolution of our programme with our new name 🤸🏽 Active by Nature 🌳

Over the last year, our programme has evolved and developed. We’ve been working to make our nature program more accessible, with pilot programmes in Switzerland, the UK, and the Philippines — bringing nature a little closer to you 🌱

In 2026, we mark the next chapter with some wonderful and exciting collaborations with organisations we will be announcing shortly 🌟

So, here’s what’s changing:

🤸🏽 .by.nature 👉🏻 This page is dedicated to sharing free resources, information, and education on nature-based activities for clubs, schools, organisations, and anyone who wants to access more scientific knowledge about the benefits of nature-based activities 💡 with ideas on how to implement them. 🎓We will also soon be announcing our feee MOOC eLearning Course

👣 program now lives on Mavericks Academy & Training Centre - This includes our leadership course, which remains open to coaches, clubs and organisations wishing to implement the Mavericks Academy ethos and methods

We can’t wait to share more over the coming season and show you how you can get involved!

Update: reopening after the Crans-Montana fire that devastated NYE and looking at the year ahead at .academy 🏔️

🌎 ONLINE ACADEMY : our new platform will soon be announced with new courses for coaches, professionals and organisations.

🇨🇭TRAINING CENTRE : our new timetable and app will be released this week with new classes available.

✨ More news coming soon once we all find our new normal!

Right now, MAVERICKS is going through a time of growth and change as we look ahead at the next 5 years 🌱

We are excited to grow through lessons learned and challenges confronted - and we are grateful for all those who are part of the journey.

We’ll admit it’s been a little quiet over here .mavericks.way 🌳 👣 🌸 - and not because we’ve been resting 😅

In fact it’s when hard work is happening behind the scenes that it’s harder to spend time online… 😬

BUT.

📖 We’re working on a book project
📚We’ve been upgrading out courses
🎥 We’re working on a documentary
🧑‍✈️ We’ve been focused on our pilot programs
🌳 … and getting outside as much as we can!

What you’re not seeing is everything that is happening behind the scenes and we can’t wait to share it all with you, as we all learn to balance screen time, work and nature time 🌳😅
