We visited our friends at KC Etterbeek in Belgium this Friday, 21 August, for a class led by Honoré Sensei, 7th Dan JKA. The class followed a traditional format, focusing on Kihon and work with partner; we then went over the basic katas and Tekki Sandan.

JKA Italy International Seminar in Inverigo (6–7 June) with Sensei Kobayashi and Sensei Naito.

Back to Inverigo for the second JKA Italia international seminar of the year, with Sensei Kobayashi as special guest.
The various sessions provided an opportunity to review refereeing, kihon and kumite, as well as several katas including Empi, Kanku Dai and Jihon, incorporating the latest updates from JKA HQ.

A special conclusion to the seminar for the grading exams, with Ania brilliantly passing her Shodan, whilst Adam, Alessio and Denis were promoted to the next level.
The welcome in Inverigo was, as always, very warm; the next event in Italy will be in October!
