These days, a lot of modern prophets talk mostly about what’s going on in our hearts, but honestly, God’s covenant has always been about more than that—it’s about our homes.
Look at the story from the very start: Eden, Canaan, and then the promise of a new earth. God’s goal isn’t just to send your soul drifting off to some cloud. He wants to bring His people back to a real, physical place where He can actually live with them—forever.
Land isn’t just a patch of dirt. It’s the place where God shows up, where His presence settles in. The job of the prophet isn’t just to tweak the way we act. It’s to lead God’s people back home, to the place He’s set aside for them.
Here’s how Scripture puts it:
"I heard a great voice out of heaven say, Look, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God." — Revelation 21:3 (KJV)
This has always been the promise: God’s people, living in God’s land, with God dwelling among them.
Prophets today need to stop turning this hope into a vague spiritual idea. We aren’t meant to float away and disappear. God’s planting us, setting us down somewhere solid. Someday, the land will be whole again, and He’ll walk right there with us.
