Olivier Scaillet, GFRI's Director, Professor of Finance and Statistics at the University of Geneva and Senior Chair at the SFI Swiss Finance Institute, was Nominated Co-Chair of the 2026 Asia Meeting of The Econometric Society.
The 2026 Asia Meeting of the Econometric Society, East & Southeast Asia, will take place from 31 July to 2 August 2026 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
It is hosted by Thuongmai University, AVSE Global, and EMLV - École de Management Léonard de Vinci (Paris La Défense).

We are delighted to announce that Professor Ines Chaieb won the S&P Global Academic ESG Research Award for her paper "Nature Risk Management in Domestic and Foreign Institutional Investments “.
The paper is co-authored with Vihang Errunza from McGill University and Lucie Lu from the University of Melbourne, and is published in The Journal of Impact & ESG Investing (JESG).
