Die Next Generation Corporate University (NGCU) ist gemäss den Vorgaben des schweizerischen Hochschulförderungs- und Koordinationsgesetzes (HFKG) erstmals institutionell akkreditiert.

Damit sichert sie sich das Bezeichnungsrecht als anerkannte Hochschule und bestätigt ihre Stellung in der schweizerischen Hochschullandschaft. Seit Ende 2022 müssen sich alle schweizerischen Hochschulen gemäss HFKG institutionell akkreditieren lassen.

Mit dem positiven Entscheid des schweizerischen Akkreditierungsrats (SAR) vom 25. März 2025 endet der rund vierjährige Akkreditierungsprozess. Die Gutachter/innengruppe stellt der Next Generation Corporate University (NGCU) ein sehr gutes Zeugnis aus und betont unter anderem, dass «die NGCU eine ausgeprägte Dialogkultur pflegt, die zu einer gelebten Qualität sowie einem hohen Engagement ihrer Angehörigen führt».

Da sie in drei Bereichen Entwicklungsbedarf sieht, spricht sie folgende Auflagen aus: (1) die Formulierung einer Qualitätssicherungsstrategie, (2) das Führen eines Kennzahlencockpits sowie (3) die Erstellung eines leistungsbereichsübergreifenden Evaluationskonzepts.

Die Frist für die Erfüllung der Auflagen beträgt 24 Monate. Die Auflagen stehen aus Sicht der Hochschulleitung grösstenteils in Einklang mit laufenden und geplanten Weiterentwicklungen im Qualitätsmanagement (QM) und in den Verwaltungsprozessen.
