𝗡𝗲𝘂𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗴 𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗻 – 𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗹𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺𝘀 𝗻𝘂𝘁𝘇𝗲𝗻.

Exchange Semester @ BFH

Post 6 – Advice for future exchange students 💬

Thinking about an exchange semester?

Merijn has one simple piece of advice:

💬 "Remember: it takes time to feel at home, but you will be alright."

Moving to another country isn't always easy.

New people.
New language.
New habits.

But every challenge becomes part of the experience—and often your best memories start just outside your comfort zone.

Would you like to study abroad one day? 🌍

Exchange Semester @ BFH

Post 5 – Climbing & Balance 🌿

Books, projects… and climbing. 🧗

Even during exam periods, Merijn always makes time to go climbing.

"I always make sure to climb at least twice a week."

Keeping a healthy balance between studying and your hobbies is just as important as passing exams.

At BFH, student life isn't only about engineering—it's about finding your own rhythm.

Exchange Semester @ BFH

Post 4 – Switzerland through an exchange student's eyes 🇨🇭

Why choose Switzerland?

For Merijn, the answer is simple:

🏔️ The mountains.
🌊 The lakes.
🌿 Nature.

One of his personal highlights was climbing in the Swiss Alps with someone he met during his semester.

Living abroad also means discovering a country far beyond the lecture halls.

Sometimes the best classroom has no walls.
