Strengthening emotional intelligence involves cultivating self-awareness, self-regulation, social awareness, and relationship management. Self-awareness requires recognizing and understanding emotions, while self-regulation involves managing stress, controlling impulses, and delaying gratification. Social awareness entails empathizing with others, actively listening, and observing nonverbal cues. Relationship management focuses on building strong connections, resolving conflicts peacefully, and inspiring others. By practicing these skills and seeking feedback, we can enhance our emotional intelligence and improve our well-being.

ECCD centres are neither babysitting centres, nor formal schools, but are places where children learn through play and social interaction. ECCD centres are professionally designed to be safe, stimulating and supportive places where children can explore, examine and experiment as a process of learning. Children learn arts, crafts, music, movement, respect, ethics, morality, language, literacy, numeracy and everything that contributes to building a strong foundation of holistic life long development.
