It was an honor to meet and exchange ideas with the U.S. Embassy’s Press Attaché, Hillary Dauer, and Press Coordinator, Hozana Ikwaba. We are excited to keep this momentum going! The coordinator of Lona Institute led the first day and launch of the workshop "Fostering Global Entrepreneurship" at the American Corner in Kisangani. This program from the US Department of State, dedicated to American Corners in the DRC, aims to connect local talents to international markets!
During the workshop, he explored how to build B2B partnerships with the US, while mastering financial standards and digital marketing to propel our businesses onto the global stage.

Félicitations à Providence Mughambuli, Coordonnateur de Lona-Institute ASBL , sélectionné, parmi les 500 meilleurs jeunes leaders d'Afrique dans le cadre de Yali Expo. Il doit se rendre à Cape Town (en Afrique du Sud) 🇿🇦 en novembre prochain pour résauter avec d'autres jeunes leaders. Une fois de plus, il rend la Tshopo et la RDC fières.

Congratulations to Louise Busoba, our volunteer English teacher at Lona Institute and CEO of Brightstar! She has been selected as one of the 10 outstanding finalists from the top 20 female entrepreneurs in DR Congo. Louise will go to Harvard University in the USA for training and networking as part of the Academy of Women Entrepreneurs program.
Additionally, she was the first person to attend the YALI Regional Center East Africa program, and now she will be the first woman from Kisangani to attend a program at Harvard.

La reprise du Morning English Training est effective au campus central. Lona Institute est fier de voir déjà certains étudiants capables de s'exprimer bien en anglais et d'être sensibilisés par la même occasion sur le danger du changement climatique.
