It was hard for me to believe that you're gone, but you are.
I don't have enough words to thank you for all that you have done for me within these two past years that I've got to know you. You've been there at my very first graduation in life, you've been there to support me while playing soccer, you've been there to welcome me back in the States at your house while fighting for your existence. You've welcomed the stranger I was into your house and into your family without judging me at all. You've trusted me at the point of leaving your house with me only for two days. I don't have enough words to thank you for trusting me at this point and accepting me.

I know that you're now dwelling in the house of our Lord, and there is no better reward than that as a Christian.

Rest In Peace, Papa Rod, we'll forever love you!

Here starts my journey as a new Wildcat at Kansas State University .
I had a great first day of class in meeting with Professor Jeffrey S., Ph.D. who is my World Geography teacher.
I was really charmed by his class in the way he has introduced it this morning. I can't wait to explore more in this class as it is not only a matter of learning about maps and countries but also about different culture, population, economy, politics, and more.

2023 K-State Orientation, what an awesome event it was!
From meeting my new friend Dajarrio to meeting the K-State President and his wife then got a picture with Willie the Wildcat and a couple of new students, I had a lot of fun!

What a great pleasure and honor it was for me to reconnect with Reid Petty, District Director for the Congressman Tracey Mann in the United States of America!
I have also got the chance to be introduced to the other staff members such as the Congressional Fellow Adrian Perfecto and the Deputy District Director Sarah Henry.
We have exchanged on our backgrounds and on the work that each one of us currently do.
I told them that my American Government Class students from last school year at Kinshasa Christian School will be delighted to see this.
Congressman Tracey Mann is a member of the House of Representatives in the USA, which is an equivalent of a Deputé in the DR Congo. They are the ones who craft and vote the laws of a nation.

Thanks again, Reid, for making this trip possible!

I hope to see you again as well as the other staff members!
