Busy Bees Nursery School Kinshasa

English speaking, play-based nursery in central Kinshasa. Garden, farm, great child:teacher ratios.

Busy Bees was founded on the British Embassy compound in the late 2000s, later moving off the compound to it's own leafy space in the heart of Kinshasa, on Concession Procoki. We are a not-for-profit school, so all fees go into maintaining this wonderful space for future generations and ensuring our staff are some of the best and most motivated early years practitioners in Kinshasa. We pride ourselves on our play-based learning and our lush and fun play-garden, with sand kitchen, tree house/open-air classroom, trampolines, a bike track, and a farm (with ducks, chickens, rabbits and a turtle!). We follow the UK Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum meaning we have excellent child-teacher ratios. We also have a low turnover of teachers meaning strong bonds are formed and a real community spirit exists.
