Education Ministry Bans Public Display of UNEB Results

The Ministry of Education has banned the public display of individual candidates’ UNEB results, citing the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019. In a circular to school heads, the Ministry warned against publishing students’ scores, result slips, or photos on billboards and media platforms. Permanent Secretary Kedrace Turyagenda emphasized that such practices violate student privacy under existing laws.
