Vincent had such evident natural talent and musical ability from the start of his training -he loved playing the piano and accompanying himself while singing. He was so positive and enthusiastic and eager to learn and develop hos kmowledge and skills. It was a wonderful experience to see him compete on Idols S.A. in later years and become the 10th season winner. I am certain he will have many successful years as a musician and performer.

Here is another past student of mine doing great things.
I taught Hannah from when she was a little girl until her early teens. As a little girl she would come skipping down my driveway with a silver suitcase containing pages of lyrics of songs she wanted to sing...shoved in among costumes and a microphone...She would bring it to every lesson-always with eyes gleaming, excitedly talking about what she envisioned as a performer. Her unplugged microphone in hand as a prop and her telling me what she would wear and we would work on technique and songs and she would sing them as if 20th entire world was watching. I taught her through years of Eistedfodds and competitions where she always excelled and I cried giant tears when she moved schools and I lost her as a student. At the new school she trained under some other expert teachers, further developing her abilities in musical theatre, jazz and harmony. I saw her perform a few times before I moved to Canada and knew she was destined for great things. But I will always remember that little girl with the suitcase and a dream and be forever grateful that I got to be a small part of this girl's dream. I loved every minute of it.

I grew up in a musical family and there was always music around, I started to sing at a young age and loved it. At the age of 16 I received my training and knowledge at The National School of the Arts and then at Performing Arts Campus, Anne was my Vocal coach and taught songwriting, improvisation and performance, she helped me gain confidence to become a professional musician and discover a passion for teaching music. She was really good at focusing on me as an individual bringing out all my strong points as a singer and a songwriter

In 2004 The Sasha Lee Band was formed, performing original and cover songs in various venues across South Africa. The band recorded a 4 track LP with the song ‘Walk Away’ reaching Top 10 in the charts on 94.7 Highveld Stereo. I recorded a 9 track album in 2010 which was recieved well by fans and got many plays on reverb nation.

I have done extensive residency work at most of the major casinos including Sun City, Monte Casino, Emperor’s Palace, Carnival City, Silverstar and Emerald Casino. I also travelled abroad doing residencies in Dubai and Bahrein

I moved to England in 2019 and since being here, I have joined a local band and perform regularly at local pubs in Surrey, England as well as opening an England branch of ‘Music Box’ teaching private music lessons for all. Future plans for me include recording an acoustic album featuring covers and original songs and I will definitely be booking online sessions for Anne's help with this.

I enjoy creating opportunities for my students to perform and record. One of the first recording sessions I arranged, Kayleigh Bell recorded a couple of songs. Back then, she was a high school student, now she just completed recording her first solo album with the record company she is signed to. Keep an eye out for this talented musician.

Teaching some of my online students this past week. We may be many many miles apart but the connection and progress and communication works just as well.
What a wonderful priviledge to be able to share in their development and love of music. I even had one student have her visiting friends join in for a fun sing along.
