It takes an incredible amount of coordination to do a club lift in and lift out with over 20 vessels and our board and member volunteers go above and beyond!!

Thanks to everyone who lent a hand today and for Canuck Crane Services in Yellowknife for the TLC on the boats to get the boats on their trailers and cradles safely.

Registration for the Adult Intermediate classes for this summer is now live!

Adult CANSAIL - Intermediate Dinghy Sailing

This is not a beginner course. It is for adults who have taken the Learn to Sail class, or for those with previous dinghy sailing experience, who would like to further develop their dinghy sailing skills. A basic understanding of sailing principles and terminology is required. This class is taught using the CANSail curriculum in Topper sailing dinghies.

Despite a weekend of mixed weather, the sailing season is in full swing!

Both our Adult Learn to Sail program, and our Wet Feet campers have been busy on the water all week, building confidence and learning new skills. The youth race team was out training timed starts today, while day sailors and weekend cruisers have been taking advantage of every opportunity to get on Great Slave Lake. We've also enjoyed hearing reports and stories from members exploring beyond Yellowknife Bay.

Whether it's a first sail, a race, or a weekend cruise, it's exciting to see so many people enjoying the lake and growing their sailing skills.
