It’s the end of an era- as many of you know, last weeks summer camp was the final camp for Schaikin Education. Jess’ family has started a new adventure, and between the 2 of us we decided that we can’t run this camp without each other. We just work so well together and have so much fun together, it just wouldn’t be the same.
Our “farm camp” has run successfully for 4 years. It started with a quick chat between 2 neighborhood friends. Holly suggesting “Jess is a teacher, I’m a farmer, let’s put this together and see where it takes us!”- it took us down a road that we both truly loved! A camp where all kids succeed, and spend time unplugged outdoors, learning some important life skills. Our goal was to always create a different camp and to never do the same thing twice. We challenged ourselves to create the best experiences we could for our campers.
Over the past 4 years we have had the absolute best campers and families. We are forever grateful to all of you supporting this adventure, and many of you becoming returning campers or as we refer to as “camp experts.”
A huge shoutout to our families for spending many hours helping us clean, prep, and attending camp themselves.
We are thankful for each other. This experience was nothing short of amazing. We are so glad we took the plunge and dove right into this adventure. There is no one else we would rather do it with than each other.
We hope we’ve created experiences for our campers with memories that last a lifetime, because that is exactly what our campers did for us ❤️
