Theresa White is an emergency room nurse who is passionate about making a difference in people's lives. She desires to promote awareness and inspire change regarding social justice issues. Theresa's imagination is brought to life through the life of Becky in her first children's book "Becky and Mr. Moon's Smiles". The book's message raises awareness about the diversity of homelessness and how one person can make a difference.

January 2012 -Although he traded his brushes and canvas for a gun and a badge, Constable Eric Hiiuvain still finds time to complete projects in line with his first career choice. The graphic designer turned police officer unveiled the children's book he illustrated at the Family Literacy Day Event held at St. Mary's Catholic High School on Saturday, January 21, 2012. Eric's passion for promoting awareness of social issues as well as educating the public to promote social justice is evident in his personal and professional life. Eric “draws” on his talent and training in graphic arts to bring the characters in the story “Becky and Mr. Moon’s Smiles” to life on the pages of this dynamic children’s story.
