Manitoba Access Awareness Week (MAAW) is celebrated the week starting on the last Sunday in May of each year.

This weeklong awareness celebration promotes accessibility and inclusion. It also acknowledges the people who are working to prevent, identify and remove barriers to accessibility, while also raising awareness about accessibility issues within the province that affect people with disabilities and many others.

June is Pride Month 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Throughout June and all year long, we remain committed to creating safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environments where every student, staff member, and family feels valued and able to be their authentic selves.

June is Indigenous History Month 🧡

LRSD honours the histories, cultures, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples, and reaffirms our commitment to learning, respect, and reconciliation.

On World MS Day, we stand alongside students, staff, families, and community members living with multiple sclerosis.

Awareness and understanding help us build more inclusive, compassionate schools for everyone.
