There was a secret project happening in the gym yesterday. This morning, we were excited to unveil our new St. Alphonsus Hurricanes logo!

Moose Hide Campaign Day is May 14th. This is not a colour day. Donations will be accepted for the Moose Hide Campaign on this day. Together we can create a future of Respect, Safety and Healing.

Donations are needed for our Garage Sale which is coming up on Saturday, May 30th. Donations can be dropped off starting on May 19. Thank you for your support!

Each class made Garage Sale Posters for our School Garage Sale on May 30th. Vote for your favourite by dropping the letter in the comments. The class with the most votes wins a free gym class!

✨ Gala Award Recognition ✨

This year, we are proud to recognize Onochie Chukwujama and Madison Ruffeski as our Gala Award recipients 🤍

Both Onochie and Madison represent what this community is all about — kindness, leadership, and a genuine spirit of giving back. Their support, involvement, and presence within our school do not go unnoticed. They truly embody the heart of St. Alphonsus.

But what made this moment even more meaningful…
was witnessing the incredible support from their peers.

Our Grade 8 students showed up in such a beautiful way on Gala night — volunteering their time, cheering each other on, and celebrating these achievements together. The way they rallied around Onochie and Madison was something special. It was genuine, uplifting, and honestly… it warmed our hearts.

We are so proud — not just of our award winners, but of all our Grade 8 students. This is what community looks like. 💫
