SpecialSteps Parenting Journey

I would like to start by introducing myself. My name is Julia and I'm a mother to 2 young children. I have been working in child care for over 5 years with my child care assistant certificate as well as my educational assistant certificate. I started working with younger children when I myself, was still in grade school. I have always known I wanted to work with children , during my time on the child care field have come to want to help the whole family. Now being a parent myself I feel for others who struggle. I myself had /have my own ups and downs on this special parenting journey and hoping to making your life a bit more claimer. My passion is working with and being an avocate for families and children with disabilities to allow the children to reach their full potential. I'm a mother myself with a child who needs a little bit more help at times and is going through therapies of her own. I UNDERSTAND you and I SEE you even when it feels like no one else does. The world's a scary place so I'm here to help you make it a little less scary adding some brightness and claiming for the whole family.
