Giselle holds a Graduation with specializations in Educational Guidance and School Management besides two post graduation specializations in teaching methodology and ped
agogical psychology. Giselle has been in school administration for over 25 years and has been instrumental in educational reform in her schools. In addition to being an Educational leader of several schools Giselle writes frequently for educational journals and blogs such as www.itu.com.brandhttp://giselleeducacao.blogspot.com/. Newspapers, as “Jornal A Página da Educação” ( http://www.apagina.pt/?aba=7&user=Giselle Castro Fernandes&mid=2 ) – Porto City, in Portugal and others, besides the Scientific Magazine from the Math Teachers Association, in Lisbon, Portugal – “Educação e Matemática” with the article “A Matemática em Questão”. Giselle wrote and published two books in education: “A Informática na Era da Educação” – Ed. People, in a partnership with Dilermando Piva Junior and “Projeto ITU – Cidade Poliglota”, Ed. Jim Leary has spent over 40 years as a career educator in Public and Private Education in Canada and abroad. Jim calls Manitoba and Itu/SP home but has worked throughout North America, South America, Middle East and Asia as a teacher, administrator, university lecturer, curriculum developer, teacher trainer and educational consultant. Jim has published research with the American Educational Research Association, National Staff Development Council and the Research and Development Center for Teacher Education at the University of Texas and has presented his research to Boards of Education, School Administrators Associations, Departments of Education and Teachers’ Unions across Canada. Although officially retired, Jim continues to pursue his interest and share his experience in Canadian bilingual education in select schools in Brazil. Jim holds Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education and Master of Education degrees in English, Cross Cultural Education and Educational Administration from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg Manitoba.
