I have an opening for piano lessons in Winkler September - May. Thursdays.
$800 for the year split between 2 payments of $400 in September and January. (Equates to $88 per month) Message me for more details! Financial exceptions can be made: monthly payment.

Age 3 - caregiver at first couple classes, drop off
Term 1 - September to December 2025 $300
Term 2 - January to April 2026 $300

Age 4 - drop off
Term 1 - September to December 2025 $300
Term 2 - January to April 2026 $300

What: Smart Start Music Class
When: Thursdays 1-1:45 for Age 3
Thursdays 2:15-3pm for Age 4
Where: K-Notes Music Studio Winkler
Why: to teach kids the foundational musical and cognitive skills before starting lessons of a specific instrument

I've been having so much fun teaching young kids about music and seeing their confidence grow in singing and instrument play!

Smart Start classes consist of small instrument play, group games, singing, and lots of movement! Cognitive skills of the brain are built upon through well designed activities that RCM has put years of research into.

$30 registration fee due upon registration, $300 class fee due at the first class. Sign up for either term or both! The curriculum is different in each term.

Parents gain access to songs, activities, and scientific research backing the curriculum through the parent portal.

No supplies needed, all are provided. Classes start September 11th!

Get to know me!

I'm Kristin Heide, a certified Smart Start teacher with 11 years music teaching experience and 12 additional years of music education resulting in 5 RCM certificates.
I was born and raised in Winkler, MB. I married my husband John almost 10 years ago (September)! We have 2 rambunctious boys ages 4 and 7 whom we homeschool for Jesus!
My favorite pass times are reading, baking, and gardening! I love to create and serve those around me with what I've created. I'm an introvert but at times I can be chatty especially once you get to know me!
I have a passion for mental health and care so much about people. One of the few reasons I teach music is because I get to serve kids not only the gift of music but come alongside their life journey and encourage their character as well.
