Founded in 1992, the Operating Engineers Training Institute of Nova Scotia looked into the future and liked what it saw. Thirty years later, with more than 7 million dollars in state-of-the-art heavy equipment, the industry continues to grow and our graduates are in high demand.

MOBILE CRANE COURSE UPDATE:
The crane course being offered March 16 - May 8 is full with an extensive Wait List.
We are no longer accepting applications for the March 16th start date.
Our fall course, October 5 - November 27, is full, however, we are still accepting applications for these dates as seats may become available throughout the year.
Applicants who reserve their seats for the October 5th start date, are now being placed on a Wait List.

We have available seats in our upcoming Fundamentals of Earth Moving course starting March 9th.
Final deadline to reserve seat: February 20th.
For those who have applied, but not reserved your seat yet, we recommend moving forward quickly to do so before the above date.

We are now preparing our site and equipment for our 2026 classes.
