Odette Debate

This weekend Odette Debate travelled to Dalhousie University for the Canadian Universities Debating Championship. It was a great weekend, filled with tons of new experiences, places, and friends.

They participated in four debates on Saturday, achieving great results and competing against top teams. Sunday was spent resting in Toronto enjoying onigiri and relaxing from their travels.

Thank you Dalhousie for hosting, can't wait to visit again!

The Odette Debate team ended their reading week with a trip to the University of Toronto for Harthouse Intervarsity.

They had a fun filled weekend, consisting of 5 debates and a banquet dinner hosted by UofT.

They ended the weekend with a day exploring the city, including shopping at the Eaton Center and enjoying the Art Gallery of Toronto.

The Odette Debate team is excited start the semester off strong with our first meetings this week!

What better way to celebrate new years, than our first practice of the semester? Every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30pm right here in Odette, room 207.

Come one, come all to the first ever debate tournament hosted by the greatest University Debate Team this side of Toronto. It’s fully APDA sanctioned. This January 5th-6th, online, all cases. Bring your A game our debate friends, cause we’re bringing the American style straight to our Canadian welcome mat. (P.S. mailing us maple syrup and beaver tails=extra points.)

Update to our debate practice times! All days we have practice (mon, tues, wed, thurs) will now be from 4pm-5:20pm in room 207 of the Odette building!
