During rehearsals, intimacy coordinators help guide conversations, establish boundaries, and support actors and creative teams in approaching intimate moments with intention and respect. A massive thank you to Meaghen Quinn for taking the time to sit down with the cast of Dear Evan Hansen.

In a post-apocalyptic world, Bern and Elena are exiled from their village. Their crime? The two women are no longer of child-bearing age.

Forced to rely upon traditional wisdom for their survival, Elena and Bern retreat from the remains of civilization to a freezing, desolate landscape where they attempt to continue their lives after the end of the world. When a charismatic stranger from the village arrives seeking their aid, the women must decide whether they will use their knowledge of the past to give the society that rejected them the chance at a future.

Why does live theatre matter?

Because for a few hours, strangers gather in one room to laugh, cry, and reflect together.

Thank you for supporting the arts and helping keep Arts Collective Theatre astir. It is a joy to work with so many artists and to bring stories to the stage.

Community is stronger when we support one another. A massive congratulations to Windsor Dance eXperience for a wonderful run of Romeo and Juliet at the Capitol Theatre Windsor!

Every theatre lover has an origin story.
Maybe it was a school play.
Maybe it was your first Broadway musical.
Maybe it was a community theatre production that changed everything.

As we look back on some of ACT's past productions, we're curious:
What was the first show that made you fall in love with theatre?

"A student in [Pasek's] class died tragically of a drug overdose. It was someone who had been sort of a loner, didn't have a lot of friends or status at school, but suddenly in the wake of death, Benj watched as everyone wanted to claim that they had been friends with him and claim that they had been a part of this person's life.”

These conversations are difficult. But they are also a part of life. What followed became a story that continues to spark conversations about connection, loneliness, truth, and empathy.
