When we started The Windsor Project, we wanted to create a space for people to pause, reflect, and share.
You did. 💙
You shared your hopes. Your thoughts. Your experiences. Your reminders of what connection means.
This compilation is just a glimpse of the incredible voices that have been part of this project. Thank you to everyone who stopped, sat down, answered a question, recorded a message, or simply took the time to connect with us.
A special thank you to CMHA-WECB, Youth Wellness Hub, weCHC, Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare’s Regional Children’s Centre, Maryvale, New Beginnings, Children First, and Jack.org for sharing their knowledge and helping shape The Windsor Project. We’re grateful to each organization that helped us create space for conversations about hope, mental health, and belonging.
But we’re not finished yet!
The Windsor Project is still going. Our website remains live, and we want to keep hearing from you. Visit TheWindsorProject.ca to share your own message of hope, reflect on what belonging means to you, or leave a message for someone who might need to hear it.
We’ll also be bringing more community voices into our second weekend of Dear Evan Hansen performances!
The blue chair’s journey through Windsor-Essex has reminded us that the experiences explored in this musical extend far beyond the stage. The messages shared through this project have given young people a space to express what belonging means to them, and there’s still room for more voices to be heard.
