I'm thrilled to share the incredible progress my client and good friend, Jeff Santos, has made over the past month and a half. We've been training in Jiu-Jitsu together for many years, and it's been a rewarding experience to help him achieve his fitness goals. Jeff has managed to surpass his previous weight limit of 171 lb and now stands at 175 lb, much to the astonishment and admiration of his training partners, who are noticing his more defined and "ripped" physique.

Moreover, Jeff is now three and a half months post-knee surgery, and we're working on building explosive power. His rehabilitation has gone exceptionally well, and he's excited to compete again this year, feeling a significant improvement in his abilities and confidence. It brings me immense pride and joy as a trainer to uplift a fellow member of our Jiu-Jitsu community and a dear friend like Jeff. Witnessing his transformation and being part of his journey is what makes my work rewarding.

As I approach the end of my season, with just one more week until , I reflect on the hard work I've put into improving myself. Regardless of the outcome, I have gained much more than just the chance to succeed. I've experienced the struggles alongside my training partners and developed a strong desire to reach my full potential. While I feel a bittersweet mix of emotions with the coming changes, I am excited to pursue other goals. I will miss the thrill and excitement of being in peak shape, but I am ready to move on to the next chapter. OSS!

I wasn't going to do this one, but it just made sense. I felt good, and content with the outcomes. There are things to work on for the coming year. Time to sharpen the blade!

I looked around yesterday, and noticed athletes from so many teams. And, I realized if I zoom out far enough, opponents, schools, and even different nations bear less meaning in the big picture. Above it all, we're all following passion, love, and everything that promotes growth.
In the end, there's nothing but mutual respect for every fellow opponent, and opposing team.
So happy to be a part of this community! OSS! 🙏🔥💪

Master Worlds 2023 is now behind me. This one hurt, as I didn't make it past the first round, and I always give it my all to prepare, so I have no excuses. In the end I had a strong season, and experienced many small wins.
I'm so lucky to be around such inspiring people, and training partners that show me how to be resilient on the Mats, and in life. Shout out to my coaches, and training partners from , and for all the help, and support!
And, a big thanks to my strength coach Shon from for helping me to prepare, and stay injury free for these tournaments. This wasn't always the case!
Lastly, I thank my family, and my amazing wife
For being my backbone, and true supporter of me following my passion.
I love you ❤️
On to the next chapter. Oss!

An eventful weekend in New Haven. Made an error that cost me the first match in my devision. Picked myself back up and fought three more fights to land second place in the open weight. I learn so much from these tournaments, and I feel blessed to be at it again, striving towards my goals 💪🔥✔️
