Having attended York University for Kinesiology then Completing the Industrial Microbiology program at Centennial College, I changed professions to apply my expertise in the medical field. I’m also a devout practicing Catholic who consistently attends weekly Mass services and an active member in the community. I aspire to be your advocate and representation within our Catholic community to strengthen the home, school, and parish partnership. I want to help ensure the development of policies and procedures inspired by the values and traditions of the Catholic faith and encourage the continuation of religious education programs and faith formation activities for students. As a parent of a special needs child, I’m very aware of the additional support, Individual Education Plan (IEP) and the related material required to ensure your child receives the best inclusive education possible. I’m eager to listen to parental concerns, especially those pertaining to Board policy and to bring forward the community’s perspective prior to a corporate Board decision. I am also very empathetic to the impact and changes that COVID has taken on our education system the mental health of our teachers, staff, and students. I’m committed to helping our youth adapt to these changes and prepare them for the challenges which lay ahead.
