In January 2024, a call for nominations to the BC Teachers’ Council was made online and information was sent to certificate holders. The call was for candidates to be nominated for elections in all five zones in British Columbia, including the zone where you reside. You can learn more about the BC Teachers’ Council and the candidates for each zone at https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/governments/organizational-structure/ministries-organizations/boards-commissions-tribunals/bctc/elections.

Voting will be done by electronic or call-in ballot. Simply Voting Inc. has been contracted as the independent third-party election provider. Voting will open at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) on March 6, 2024, and it will remain open until 4:30 p.m. PT on March 20, 2024. You are responsible for casting your vote prior to the official end date and time for it to be officially tallied.

Once you reach the login page, you will be asked for your six-digit BC certificate number and a Personal Identification Number (PIN). Enter your certificate number beginning with either the letter “L” or “J” and then enter the PIN, found below.
