๐ซฃ Cross-Sport Confusion: Yes, our Ref is rocking a hockey jersey while pulling out yellow and red soccer cards. Blame our creator, a die-hard hockey fan who clearly referees by their own rules.

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Celine, Candice, and Sue to the team as our new Junior School Associates!
๐ง Celine studied in the Netherlands and has worked with children across Germany, Spain, and South Africa! She loves watching young learners discover their unique potential. When sheโs not teaching, you can find her exploring BCโs trails, baking, or working on a fun DIY craft project.
๐ Candice is a UBC and SFU graduate who completed her teacher education in the IB cohort. Inspired by her own childhood teachers, she is dedicated to creating a safe, encouraging space where kids feel valued. Outside of class, she loves Pilates, Latin dance, caring for animals, and reading Chinese poetry.
๐ Sue holds a Masterโs from SFU and a Bachelor of Ed from UBC's IB cohort. With valuable experience as an EA and Behaviour Interventionist, she is passionate about inclusive, inquiry-based learning. On weekends, sheโs usually enjoying the North Shore by snowboarding, fishing, gardening, or crocheting.
We are so excited to watch these three inspire our young learners!

Today, we officially welcomed our newest faculty members to campus for Day 1. We kicked things off with morning coffee and orientation, followed by campus tours to help everyone get their bearings. To test their teamwork (and navigation skills), the group took on an Amazing Race-style scavenger hunt, searching for clues in offices and classrooms. We topped off an incredible day the best way we know how - with an afternoon barbecue!

Both of these incredible educators are dedicated to fostering strong connections and helping students push past their comfort zones to discover what they are truly capable of achieving.
โท๏ธ Ellie started her career teaching Geography in the UK before moving to Canada in 2024, spending the last two years teaching Science and Socials in West Vancouver. Now, she is incredibly excited to return to her first love - Geography - at our school. Ellie is all about building meaningful, supportive relationships in the classroom. In her free time, you'll find her skiing, biking, performing improv, speaking Spanish, or taking refreshing cold sea dips.
๐คฟ Victoire holds a Master's in Aerospace Engineering and worked on drone technology for the UK Ministry of Defence before finding her true passion in math education. Inspired by her own teachers, she loves breaking math down into logical, manageable steps so that every student can succeed. Outside the classroom, this qualified Rescue Diver and karate enthusiast loves hiking, camping, skiing, and building hands-on electronics and physics projects.
We are so incredibly lucky to have their vibrant energy and diverse talents joining our community.
