Nothing better than fresh local corn! Yum!! 🌽

We are so privileged to know so many great people who grow nearby- where we can get all the fresh produce that we don’t grow ourselves! Like sweet corn! Knowing the faces behind the food we eat is very important to us.

Willow planted this sunflower at school, so we had to find it a very special spot in the garden (not necessarily in line with my companion planting master plan, but that’s okay). Look at it now!

I love seeing the kids get excited about what they’ve grown in the garden. Getting giddy when they spot the first ripe tomato, tromping through the raspberry patch in their housecoats, eating garlic chives like nothing. It’s the whole point. It’s why we live here and do this work.
