The Demo Team is kickin' it at Open Streets Waterloo this afternoon! 💪 We had a great first demo on Willis Way at 2pm. Catch us again on the main stage in town square at 5 pm! 🌞

Sifu Erich is set up at The Hydrocut MTB Trails for the TWB Co-operative Brewing launch today! Come stop by the Glasgow lot and say hi! 👋

WKFA is all set up at for Walk this morning! 💪 Come see our demo team at 9:30, 9:50, and 10:10, and our lion dancers at 10:45 🐲 then stay for the walk at 11!

My good friend James (from my high school days) has made a film called The Last Assassins. It looks really good and I think is martial art themed. I plan to attend. Feel welcome to join!

It's this Saturday at 4pm at the UW School of Architecture (where James graduated from, in addition to film school). This is in Galt near the Gaslight district.

By popular demand, our very own, 3rd Degree Black Sash, Sifu Lorna, put on a fan-tastic seminar at the Academy this past Saturday afternoon!

After many months of training, countless classes (actually...we do count them😉), lots of sweat and a thorough afternoon of testing on Saturday, our Academy is proud to welcome six new students to the rank of Blue Sash and one new Brown Sash, Sije Chantal!

We would also like to congratulate Sifus Neel and Anne, who were promoted to 3rd and 4th Degree Black Sash, respectively.

A special recognition to our Iron Warriors: Tysen and Dave, who not only attended class on Sunday, but also Demonstration Team practice (only 16 hours after a strong grading performance).

Competition isn't just about medals but about discipline, growth and the courage to put yourself out there

Kudos to all WKFA & students who put their heart into every division - sparring, weapons, forms, creative & stances - at our 27th Annual Spring Invitational Tournament this past weekend! 🔥💪🏅
