If you’re serious about getting stronger, time to change these habits.
It gets really clear when you hang around the best lifters in the country (and the world), which I've done.
They don’t skip accessories, and they give them the same respect as their squat, bench and deadlift work.
They don’t overshoot RPE because they were chasing numbers.
They don’t pick their coach because they were cheap or because of their IG clout.
They don’t stay up late binging shows on Netflix or HBO.
They don’t expect to reach their peak performance by sleeping like s**t and gassing up on energy drinks.
And yet so many other lifters do all those and more.
Let me be clear: I’m not here to judge.
If you’re happy with where you’re at and where you’re going, I’m psyched for you.
What I am here to do is extend an invitation if you feel stuck, frustrated or stagnant.
Like you’ve got potential that you’re trying to unlock but you just aren’t sure how.
Usually it takes a few simple tweaks to your training, nutrition and recovery to make the PR’s start raining again.
The trick is knowing what buttons to push and when.
If you’re ready to push the PR button and make sure you get drug tested at your next meet, DM me “PR” to book a call and start step 1!

If you’re a powerlifter, this is for you.
Life is like a baseball pitcher. Sometimes it lobs us an easy hit. Other times it whips a curve ball at our heads.
And the longer I’ve lifted, the clearer it gets: it’s not gonna stop. Ever.
So stop waiting for the “right time” or for life to “slow down a bit.”
Why not use that time to get jacked?
And don’t get it twisted, either. I’m not saying that everything is an excuse.
I hate it when coaches and trainers say that s**t.
There are things that feel overwhelming. Starting a new job, having kids, dealing with loss and mental health struggles to name a few.
When things are outside of your control like that, you only get to decide how you respond to them.
Most of us have people in our lives who seem okay with pointing the finger at the reasons they’re not where they want to be.
We get tired of hearing that story over and over.
But it’s scary how fast WE turn into the person telling that same story.
I’m not saying you need to be perfect. Actually, I’m saying perfect doesn’t exist.
I’m also inviting you to stop waiting on whatever you’re waiting on.
There is no “right time.” But right now is pretty good.
And whatever you’re up against, I believe that you’re stronger.

Only OG’s will understand.
What’s your go-to preworkout these days?

Stop settling for less than you deserve.
If you want to get jacked, smoke new PR's and stop letting injuries make you feel like s**t, let's go.
I've helped hundreds of lifters to come back from injury stronger than they were before.
I'll do the same for you.
I'll help you turn old PR's into warmup weights and make your gym friends ask what you're doing differently.
I'll help you walk into the gym like you own the place and remember what it's like to love your training again.
All on your terms and on your schedule.
Sound good?
DM me "Let's go!" to chat with me and book a call to get started now!

Good powerlifting coaches aren’t trying to be your friend. They’re also not assholes.
They tell you what you need to hear, and sometimes it’s not what you want to hear.
But they do that because they believe in you. They see greatness waiting to be unlocked, and they know you have the key.
They’re invested in your success and they’re willing to tell it like it is because they care enough about you.
Find you a coach like that. Amen?

If you’re a busy lifter working full time, keeping your kids mostly intact and trying to get stronger, this is for you.
The more I talk to lifters, the more I hear this story.
In some way, shape or form, it’s the same.
And it’s not your fault. It’s not anyone’s fault. Life gonna life, y’know?
But there’s a way to cover up the Achilles heel that all busy lifters have.
I’ve had to work hard to cover my own. Some days are better than others.
But I’m here to tell you that you can do it. And when you do, you'll feel friggin incredible.
Check the carousel for the skinny.
If you’re ready to break the start-stop cycle and just make some big ass gains, DM me “GAINS” to book a call with me now!

When you're losing your sight, you think about the future a lot.
That's what's happening to me. I have a disease called choroideremia that's slowly eating away my eyesight.
So I think a lot about what lessons I want to teach my daughters.
One of them is giving the metaphorical finger to people and things who make them feel weak and less than.
I want to show them that they're strong. That they belong here as much as any other person.
I want them to know in their bones that "If Daddy says I'm strong, then I'm strong."
That's part of my mission.
Not just to walk the walk and invite my daughters to walk their own paths of strength.
But also to help you do that too.
Because I wonder what happens if you feel strong enough to show up for your family the way you want to.
What moments and lessons will that help you create?
What memories will it allow you to make, where people think of you and say "They're one of the strongest people I know."
That's what I think about every single day before I start my work.
And it's what I'm here to help you do.

This is about more than bench arches.
I've been blessed to work with a lot of lifters at this point. Many of them are women.
And I keep hearing that one of the biggest barriers to them getting in the gym was fear of judgement.
Can you imagine wanting to get in the gym after getting inspired by watching IPF Worlds?
Seeing some strong ass women doing strong ass things and want to be part of that too?
And then to run face first into comments that disparage, break down and build barriers?
We gotta do better. Better for everyone, but this is a thing that affects women more.
There's too much at stake. Worse yet, these barriers get built for no other reason than to protect fragile egos.
If egos gotta break to make room for more people in the gym, I'm cool with that.
Share if you agree.
