Last weekend some of our crew went out to Flat Out Polo Club to compete in two divisions of the Fresh Coast Arena League, & oh boy did they come home with their hands full!

🏆 In the A Flighg Game (3-6 goal) our team of Javier, Hunter & Phil won! With Hunter receiving MVP, and Bailey’s (ridden and owned by Phil) winning Best Playing Pony!

🥇 In the B Flight Game (0-3 goal) our team of Trenton Alexander, Phil & Linda Davila won as well! With Phil receiving MVP, and Trenton receiving Sportsmanship.

Last weekend was such a blast, and oh boy is August busy here! We still have our Umpire Clinic this weekend, two of our girls are out west for the East Meets West Tournament with Polo Canada, and next week we have our annual charity event for the Niagara Health Foundation!

Last weekend some of our club members headed out to the Sugarbush Polo Club in Vermont. Games started on Saturday with Linda Davila, Sophie Kranenberg, Trenton Alexander, and Hunter Van der Burgt. Though in the second chukker, Hunter was unfortunately injured and had to have his dad, Phil, stand in. Greater Niagara won and moved to finals Sunday!

Though in the Sunday match, Greater Niagara lost to Giant Valley from Connecticut after fighting their best against the higher rated team. Saphira, ridden by Linda Dávila and owned by Tammy, picked up the best playing pony award due to not only her skill but her hot pink gear.

Thank you to everyone for making it a great weekend, and especially to Kim and Seth for putting up our team and horses. Till next year!
