The school office will be open starting Aug 24 between 9am-3pm for assistance with new registrations or questions.

Thank you to Shell Wabamun Travel Center for their incredible support!
As part of their Grand Opening event, they donated 2c from every litre of gas sold and presented Wabamun School with a cheque for $1000 towards our Nutrition & lunch Programs. Customers also donated $77.30 towards our programs.

In case you were planning on attending this event with your family tomorrow in Wabamun, it has been CANCELLED due to expected severe weather.

Event Update: Due to expected severe weather and rainfall forecasted for tomorrow, we have made the unfortunate, but necessary decision to CANCEL tomorrow's Summer Social.

The safety and comfort of our attendees, guests, vendors, and organizers are our 1st priority in making this decision.

We apologize for the disappointment, as we were very much looking forward to this event too. Any future plans for rescheduling will be discussed and shared at a later date.

Thank you to all the Wabamun Community League volunteers, Wabamun Lion's Club, and Parkland County, who have worked tirelessly to organize this event. Your commitment to our community is always greatly appreciated.

Our Wabamun Wild Student of the Week is Jaxon! Jaxon is open to trying his best when things get hard, even willing to take longer to complete a task so he can feel the pride of finishing it. He takes direction from his teacher well and enjoys listening to conversations of his peers in class. Jaxon is friendly and readily smiles at others he sees. He enjoys being creative during art and being active in the gym and at recess. Congratulations Jaxon!

Today we celebrated our Volunteers! Thank you to each and every single Volunteer who helped make our School great this year, from field trips to sporting events to our lunch program, we could not have done it all without our outstanding volunteers. THANK YOU! You rock!
