Everyone expresses themselves and shares what matters to them in different ways. Some of us choose to share bits of who we are using the small bulletin board by their office door.
Here's a capture of some fun/sweet/special items you will see on our team's bulletin boards today!

Meet Equity and Human Right's Annual Report for 2024-2025!
There is lots of interesting information to be found in our annual report on EQHR’s initiatives, priorities and case-response work. For example, the report shares types and number of process options people have explored within UVic’s Discrimination and Harassment Prevention and Response Policy as well as the Sexualized Violence Prevention and Response Policy.
You can also learn more about events that have been held on campus to raise awareness of cross-campus work, including 5 Days of Action and Consent Awareness Week.
Reports from the last 5 years can be found on uvic.ca/equity (link in bio) under “about us” ➡️ “reports and statistics”.

Meet Kaiʻa Hill Brydon (she/her), Coordinator, Indigenous and Human Rights, Institutional Capacity Building.
Kaiʻa works collaboratively between the Office of the Vice-President Indigenous and the Equity and Human Rights office to develop strategies to support institutional capacity building and culture change. This means she is often found meeting with leaders on campus to discuss ways they can help change campus culture so everyone feels more comfortable being themselves. She often practices this by connecting with others through humour and relational accountability.
