The Booster Bench Project was created to foster the development of strong childhood friendships through the use of Booster Benches.
The Booster Bench Project was created to foster the development of strong childhood friendships. Studies have shown that children with strong friendships are better able to learn, are more likely to finish school, are mentally and physically healthier, and are generally happier than those children who do not. Taking a seat on a Booster Bench will provide friendship opportunities for children:

Thank you to the faculty and (amazing) PAC at École Willows for your support in placing a Booster Bench at your school. The location is absolutely perfect and it looks incredible.

Please take a look at the link below which takes you to the final report that our team created to summarize where the project was at when we officially completed the 2015/2016 Leadership Victoria program.

We have six benches on-hand, and we will be placing those over the next few months. Moving into 2017 our team is continuing the project on our own—with Leadership Victoria providing the foundation for the project to grow.
Our intent is to continue to expand the project with the ultimate goal being to work with schools and PAC's to have a Booster Bench placed at every school in British Columbia—a lofty goal, but really, there should be no other kind :).
If you have any questions, or if you are interested in having a bench placed at your school, please do not hesitate to reach out.
The results that we have seen from this initiative so far have been amazing, and have far exceeded any expectations that any of us had. We are so looking forward to helping it expand in the future.

Yesterday two of us were thrilled to be at George Jay Elementary School speaking to an assembly full of kids excited to hear about their very own Booster Bench, coming later this month!
The art work on the gym walls made us feel very welcome.
