How are YOU doing today?
I am recovering from breaking my wrist in mid November. So far, no tree or decorations.
I am thankful to be healthy so my wrist is improving nicely.
I sent chocolates to my son who lives across the country- his favourites.
Other than that, I will send a donation to my food bank.

I’ll play Christmas music and plan for next year!

Dog walk is done. I found a $10 bill on theroad- a nice surprise for me! Hubby has cleaned the kitchen and returned to his computer in his space. Time to write in my journal, read a bit and then bedtime.
I do dog boarding and this is the one I have for this week.
What is Christmas? Hopefully it means spending time in a pleasurable way.

December 2025. What are you doing for Christmas? My neighbour asked me a month ago! My standard response is that we, hubby and I, don’t do much for Christmas.
My neighbour insisted that I should figure out what I want.
Christmas is always a tug session. It is fun to have lots of surprises under a tree. But it is so wasteful!
Hubby and I put more effort into dinner and have a dessert.
Generators were on sale so we are getting one. I told hubby that meant we would use the turkey we have in the freezer instead of spending $200 on a fresh local turkey. It will be a relief to have a generator.

What are you doing about Christmas time this year?

Sometimes life gets crazy. I just finished a business project.
2 hours ago, I was driving to an appointment. I haven't driven since breaking my wrist on Oct 23. My car died just as i was entering an intersection. 3 men pushed my car to the side of the street. I am very thankful for their assistance. Hubby came around and the car would not restart. We may have flooded the car so left it and will return shortly to try again.
