Okanagan School of Guitar

With the start of the snowy season, I hope you are looking forward to a musical winter full of tasty riffs and happy practicing sessions! But make sure you enjoy the outdoors as well! 

I just wanted to wish everyone an early  happy holidays and hope your plans for the coming year are successful!

One last quick thing! If you have time, check me out on My Secret Santa on Netflix. Not my type of movie to watch!, but it was fun to be part of the production.  Ryan Eggold is a very chill guy who even asked me to show him some riffs during the shooting. If anything, you'll get a good laugh seeing me all awkward during two scenes. The movie was shot in Kamloops and Sun Peaks. At the moment is the #1 movie in Canada 😂🇨🇦. Cheers

It’s the end of the school year and since the vast majority of my students go to middle school or high school, the excitement for a well deserved summer break has started!

I just want to mention I’ll also be taking a short break from my normal schedule during July and August. However, I’ve been getting inquiries about lessons during the summer and I would absolutely be ok with a few check-ins during the break. This way when we can resume normal lessons in September without missing a beat! Either once a month or biweekly would totally be ok and the schedule can be coordinated a week in advance.

September 2025

I’m very full at the moment and keep getting inquiries for lessons from people who would like to start in September. So if you could please confirm ASAP if you will continue in September, and if so, would you like to keep the same time and day or would like to change it. This way I can make sure I give preference to current students and accommodate new ones once each one of my older students are happy with their schedule.

One last thing, it’s been great to have been working with so many passionate students! I wanted to highlight a few of them in this post (sorry for not having everyone's pictures taken). Thanks so much for your great work. It’s been really awesome to see all you develop strong skills on your instrument while learning songs you love!
