Custom woodshed for Gord and Karen

Hand cut joinery for some wonderful clients...

I had just decided to start Woodmans Design-Build in July last year. While I had run my own business before, I found it tougher to start up in Vernon compared to Prince Rupert. I had spent 10 years in Rupert building connections and working the trades- in Vernon I had lost most of my connections and was mostly doing work for my family.

While making a quick stop at on the way home, I ran into my friend from high-school. We hadn't seen each other for 15 years, and we got talking and he mentioned he wanted to revamp his backyard and replace his dilapidated shed.

I can't thank Derrek and Joni enough for taking a chance and trusting my brother and myself for tearing a new one at their place and putting in a functional shed for them. We had some wicked conversations along the way about music, family and business.

Ps. Derrek introduced me to beatdown hardcore in grade 10. Check out his band if you haven't. What a legend.
