From a curious Grade 7 student. To a world-class science fair champion.

What does it really feel like to prepare for and compete at a world-class science fair? The nerves, the breakthroughs, the failures, and the moments that make it all worthwhile?

Join us for a free virtual session where Grade 11 student and young science innovator Tanvir Mundra shares the real story behind competing at some of the most prestigious science fairs in the world.

Here's what you will hear:
✦ The behind-the-scenes story of competing at international science fairs

YSIS is a youth organization that teaches and helps young students build prototype solutions using STEM to solve real social problems.
In our 1st Cohort, students built a working robotic assistive system from scratch to help people with mobility challenges — with no prior experience.
Now our 2nd Cohort is open — and this time, the focus is the environment. 🌿
BC has 29+ environmental organizations and the problems are still growing. We believe the next solution can come from a young person like you.
If you have an innovative idea, an interest in environmental science, or simply want to build something for a meaningful cause — join us!
📅 Deadline: May 31st 🔗 Application form in our bio

It is the precision that matters. The team tested the full range of motion on the servo motor — mapping out the minimum and maximum degrees that will control movement in our robotic assistive system — by the students of Youth STEM Impact Society.
Want to know how they found those numbers? Our next video has the answer 👀

Grade 8–11 students — are you ready to build something that actually matters to society this summer? 🌿
Applications are open for the YSIS 2nd Cohort! This time, we are tackling a real environmental challenge and building a prototype solution designed and built by the students themselves.
We are looking for four creative, passionate students who want to make a positive impact on their community. Along the way, you'll build real skills — industrial design, coding, problem solving, and teamwork — the kind you don't get in a classroom.
Our inaugural cohort built an award-winning robotic assistive system from scratch. Now it's your turn. 🏆
📅 FREE Virtual Info Session — May 12 | 6:00 PM PST
Come meet us, ask your questions, and find out if YSIS is for you!

Happy Monday! 🚀
Let’s start the week with a question:
A spaceship just crashed near you… what’s your first move?
Your answer might reveal how you think in STEM 👀

We got the load cell connected and the arm moving smoothly… after HOURS of troubleshooting and debugging today! It’s basically Where’s Waldo but with error messages instead of stripes 😅🧐 Almost there, but next class = round 2 of bug hunting! 🔧🤖

Your first time soldering → 50% “this is so cool” + 50% “this is so frustrating ” 😭🔥
But the young members powered through and the final builds? Honestly impressive !
