Printmaking has been part of fine art for centuries. Artists from Albrecht DΓΌrer to Andy Warhol used it as a beautiful tool. Our students love exploring printmaking too ππΊποΈ

A glimpse of our Saturday class β¨
Itβs always inspiring to see how each student approaches the same task in their own way.
Swipe to see a bit of the process and some of the finished works. From first lines to thoughtful details, every piece reflects curiosity, focus, and a unique artistic voice.

Mushroom day in the studio! π
We explored mushrooms as inspiration for shapes, patterns, and colors. Students looked at different mushroom forms and noticed their wavy caps, tall stems, and playful spots and textures.
Using these ideas, they created their own artworks filled with organic shapes, repeating patterns, and earthy forest colors.
Nature is the best art teacher! πΏπ¨

πΈLAST CALL π
Spring break should feel inspiring, active, and meaningful.
This year at .form.studio , our Spring Camp theme is Nature. We designed the week to immerse children in observation, creativity, and hands-on exploration.
Throughout the camp, students will experience:
β’ Field trips to the Vancouver Art Gallery for artistic inspiration
β’ Visits to the Aquarium to study marine life up close
β’ Plein air drawing sessions outdoors
β’ Printmaking workshops
β’ Painting and mixed media projects
β’ Creative games that build teamwork and imagination
Each day blends structured art education with exploration and play. Children develop focus, artistic skills, and a deeper connection to the natural world while you enjoy peace of mind knowing their time is purposeful and enriching.

When WiFi didn't exist..
Spring break can be more than just childcare. It can be a safe, inspiring, screen-free space where your child creates, explores, and grows.
At Fine Arts Spring Camp in East Van, children are guided by a professional artist in small, supportive groups. They build confidence, develop focus, and express their ideas through drawing and painting, while feeling seen and encouraged.
This is a calm, safe place where children slow down, use their imagination, and create meaningful work away from screens.
Each child works on independent projects and finishes the week with their own artwork presented in a small exhibition. This experience helps them feel proud, confident, and motivated.
