Creativity in Children

The creativity of creative children is based on three characteristics: they seek the uncommon; they love to generate new ideas; and they don’t get unnecessarily apprehensive about the errors they may make. In a certain way, a creative person is indifferent to the humiliation that could follow a mistake and is willing to attempt high risk physical or mental experiments that could fail.
With this, we can arrive at some conclusions about creative people:
• They are not so censored. In fact, everything we do has a risk of errors and a person with high censorship has no tolerance for mistakes
• They are tolerant of their own problems as they’ve already learned to deal with their doubts and questions
• They are highly ethical because they desire to do well – to overcome
• They live life in a positive way and display the motivation to seek what is good

Our delusions begin with our projection

If envy is not conscientized, we will automatically project — which means that if we do not see the problem in ourselves, we will transfer it to someone else. This being the case, I believe illness begins with the process of projection, and the greater the projection, the sicker the person. A person who projects is sick; a person who interiorizes is healthy.

If I externalize; that is, project what I am (my feelings, thoughts, attitudes, state of mind) onto another person, I am, in fact, inventing a fantasy, a delusion that will be difficult for me to recognize. This is the process by which the mentally ill typically harbor illogical thoughts, ideas out of touch with reality.
And it is here that the question of ethics arises, because those who project deny the truth, unwilling to admit how they really are.

Resistance to seeing problems (our faults, our shortcomings) is directly related to our envy, which we obviously feel deeply ashamed to admit. This is the first consequence of envy; the second is projection, which consists in attributing to someone else what we are loathe to see in ourselves. When pronounced, this second consequence leads to the most serious illnesses (psychoses) when it is pronounced. With this we complete the infernal triangle of psychopathology.

B.L. had been overweight for many years and no diet had proved effective. Medicines had had no effect; in fact, it seemed that each time she took them, she gained even more weight.
B.L. associated sweets with something that was both very good and at the same time harmful to her. In other words, B.L. felt that what was good in life was also damaging. She had an inverted philosophy, believing that everything that brought her happiness was forbidden to her - that at most, she could have only a little, never as much as she wanted.
