This is what my year and a half long sabbatical / mat leave has taught me…

+ There is no rush, trust the timing
+ Taking a break is necessary sometimes and its safe to do so
+ If you’re not feeling inspired by life, keep going, the spark will reignite but you can’t force it
+ Time isn’t linear
+ Success is internal and no amount of external will fulfill you
+ Family is number one ( this can be the one you create for yourself )
+ Your authenticity creates ripples of change in every area of your life & community
+ Your ego will always rule if you give it power to
+ You are capable of holding two emotions at once, life is about duality and being okay in all of it’s fullness
+ Everything will work out, it’s already done

Becoming a mom is the best, hardest, but most amazing journey I’ve ever been on.

Its shown me true love.
Its shown me my true self.
Its shown me what really matters.

But the journey here can feel lonely, if it wasn’t for my close friends & family I definitely don’t know what my postpartum period would have looked like… and it was still hard AF.

There is a deep part of me coming forward that knows I need to support mothers on this journey.
Maiden to mother will bring you to your mf&$king knees.
It’s supposed to.
But if we don’t have hands to hold while we trudge the underworld, it can be really easy to get lost and find the light.
So no matter what you’re going though…
You have a village here, you have a friend here.
You are not alone.
Something is coming… 🍃🖤✨

It’s okay to say goodbye to everything you thought you were in order to birth who you truly are.

Life is a forever game of dissolving the ego back to love.
What is YOUR truth?
Not societies, not your anxiety, not your partners or friends…
Check in daily, where are you operating from ?
Can you invite in more love & truth ?
Are you willing to surrender deeper into what you really want and not what you think you “should” do?

Mama let’s get real…
This s**t is fu***ng hard,
Like really hard.

Motherhood will change you & challenge you.
It will force you to grow in really big ways.
You don’t have a choice…
You can run, you can hide, but it will catch up with you eventually.
The journey from maiden to mother isn’t for the faint of heart.
If you’ve been brought on this journey trust you have the strength to traverse this immense transformation that’s needed to enter into motherhood, I know some days it will feel like you don’t.
And I know some days you will ask god/universe “why the f&$k can’t this be easier?”
But then those little beings give you one of those goddamn smiles that melt your soul and remind you that every tough moment is worth it.
And you know what’s amazing ?
Your children are your legacy.
This legacy is instilled by your energy.
Remember your child isn’t actually the main focus … I said it.
YOU ARE.
( I mean, obviously they are but like you get me right ? )
Because without you there is no child to raise…

So my love, How are you viewing life, yourself, your mission, the mundane & everything in between?
How are you holding yourself through the sleepless nights, days without showers & solo parenting?
How are you loving yourself when it seems like there’s no time to even p*e let alone worship this new you.
I know it’s tough but you are tougher, believe me.
Because without you mama we cannot raise this new generation with such deep love, reverence and acceptance of themselves.
You hold the torch.
They witness the light.
