Piapot, Saskatchewan

Stanley Mervyn Heard, son of Wesley and Mary Rosanna Heard, whom died August 18th, 1943. He was a Flight Lieutenant in the Canadian Airforce. He was reported missing and presumed dead.

Many photographs taken by my father on his trips to Piapot during retirement. His father AJ is buried here as well as two infant sisters.
His cousins from John Charles Mercer were registered at the school at one time.

Just recieved a letter from my Aunt Irene Mercer. Her late husband Wendell Mercer was born in Piapot.

My grandfather Ananias Mercer at the Piapot train station in the early 40's. Grandpa had a store though I don't recall any photos of it.
