On-camera & Scene Study classes for beginners & up-and-comers are also available. CLASS FORMAT FOR SCENE STUDY:

Each class is 5 hours in length and runs for 5 weeks, 1 class per week. Class starts at 6 pm sharp and finishes at 11 pm. (Classes may go slightly past 11 pm occasionally.) You and your partner will be assigned a scene from a play approximately 1 week before class starts. You will read

the play and learn your lines. You will prepare as much as possible on your own and with your partner and arrive for the first class of the session off-book with suitable props and wardrobe. On the final class, you and your partner will have a choice to either continue performing the whole scene as “theatre,” or to select a small selection from the scene and work with Ben to adjust it for “film,” and videotape that selection. In order to provide the most focused environment possible for the actors committed to working in class, Ben is no longer having drop-in auditors at Haven Studio. He does, however, understand that people inquiring about class need to find out if Haven is the right studio for them, so he can chat on the phone with you and answer any questions you may have. LORETTA’S CLASSES:

Loretta Walsh teaches scene study classes (the same format and style as Ben Immanual’s classes). Each scene study class is 5 hours in length and runs for 5 weeks, one class per week. For more information, please contact Stephanie at [email protected]

NELSON'S CLASS:

Nelson Wong teaches an "On-Camera Audition Breakthrough" class. You will learn and refine the vital skills necessary to deliver unique, confident, well-prepared auditions that will help you break through your fears and enjoy the casting process. Each class is 4 hours in length and runs for 4 weeks, one class per week. For more information, please contact Stephanie at [email protected]

CANCELLATION POLICY:

The full cost of class will be charged if you drop out within a week of class starting. Half of the tuition will be charged if you drop out with less than 10 days notice of the first class. GETTING STARTED:

Please also remind Stephanie if you are a returning student, previous auditor or new to the studio. If you are new to Haven Studio and cannot get into one of Ben’s classes due to high demand, Ben recommends taking one of Nelson's or Loretta’s classes to get warmed up. This will put you at the top of the list to get a spot in Ben’s class as soon as we are able to accommodate you. STUDIO LOCATION:
